I just came back from the revival of the Sabbat LARP in NY.... HOLY FUCKING SHIT! I have never seen such a well oiled, responsibly ran, responsibly played, full of intense RP 1st game for any LARP EVER! Hands down, Kings of New York came back with a vengeance to be a phenomenal LARP. I took pictures and you can just see, how hardcore everyone is for this LARP!

I love rain, I really really do! It sets the perfect mood for my inner-horror fan as well as my role playing side..... But I was planning to do Paintball Saturday! There is no fucking way I'm doing paintball in the mud! Rain I love, mud I HATE! Plus to top it all off, I've got the End of the World LARP afterwords Saturday evening... Now see, I wanted to go all out for the Sabbat LARP since I remember the players that played there, the style of ST'ing that presented itself, the active players that basically had the "we don't need plot! So I've been in talks with a lot of the Kings of New York players who quit the game when the ST's decided to move the game to CT (Yeah, the game is called Kings of New York, yet the ST's wanted to host it in another state.) So now that basically with a vote of "No Confidence" the ST's had the game taken away from them and now all the old players are coming out of the woodwork to make this huge Sabbat LARP happen

I'm already looking for character ties and to form a pack RIGHT away. Remember, this isn't like bullshit Requiem or OWOD Camarilla... Sabbat run like the movie "The Warriors" you gotta be in a pack otherwise your just a bitch waiting to be bitch slapped :) ::Does the gleeful evil Sabbat Fire Dance::

Now this show evaded my notice for apparently 3 years. It has a form of Obfuscate due to it being sandwiched between shows such as 1 Tree Hill, Dawson's Creek, Gilmore Girls, etc, etc, etc. So naturally anything awesome or cool couldn't survive in this desolate wasteland of teenage television bullshit... Apparently I was wrong.

This is apparently one of the most watched (yet least advertised) shows on the WB/CW 11 and I could not believe what kind of depth the story has(as well as how far it detracts from the rest of the regular programming on their stations) When my friend Steven told me to download a few episodes I was hesitant but the first 3 episodes alone hook you like cocaine. What makes me even more confused is why the TV Network DOESN'T advertise the crap out of this show! I can say hands down, this makes any other Supernatural/Occult TV show look like a PG13 Nickelodeon Kids Special. (Yeah, even better then Sanctuary on Sci-Fi)

I've been dwelling on the past and my time I spent in Albany... It was a big part of my life and I'm still in the transitioning phase (even though I've been back for 3 months now.) But trying to move on has been a bit hard, so what's the number 1 unhealthy thing I can do? Drown myself in role playing. I've noticed I've been doing way to much Role Playing oriented activities and none of my friends are really breaking away from the norm save for a few.

The other problem is I haven't had enough time to actually go out with my other friends who have been going out to clubs or doing other stuff. I still haven't had my friends have a free schedule to go play paintball. The oddest thing though is since I've been back, I haven't been depressed until now. Just lingering thoughts of my ex, where I use to live for a year, all the friends I kind of had to distance myself from since I don't plan on moving back to Albany, just a huge part of my identity was just ripped away from me and now I feel like I don't even know who I am anymore.

I've been moving around my social circles to see who I latch onto or who I feel most comfortable with, but it's like I just can't be happy for these past few days... So I've started to isolate myself. I hate myself even more for writing emo crap like this because the internet isn't really any place to air out dirty laundry (plus in my opinion, it just sounds like whining.) So... Blah, hopefully I can look back at this later on and gauge how I overcame this rut like I have with my other previous ruts and see how to prevent or prepare for stuff like this in the future. I'm also pretty sure for the spiteful, the cynical, the immoral, and the asshole internet trolls who love to lurk on other people's LJ and fish for gossip because misery is their bread and butter, this is going to be a gold mine for them... So "Yaaayyy" for gossip.

Mother Nature will be like "slooow dooown" and you'll be like "FUCK YOU!"
